CelebPups Official Contest Rules

Effective Date: November 1, 2024

 

1. Non-Affiliation and Disclaimer

Contests hosted on the CelebPups app are operated solely by InstaSleb LLC. These contests are not affiliated with, sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Apple Inc., Alphabet Inc., or their respective app stores, subsidiaries, or affiliates. InstaSleb LLC assumes full responsibility for all contest operations.

There is no official association, sponsorship, or endorsement by YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, or other third-party platforms. Any references to third-party logos, trademarks, or websites are strictly for informational purposes and do not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

 

2. No Purchase Necessary

Participation in contests requires no purchase or payment. While in-game features like hearts and digital gifts are available for purchase, they do not impact a participant's chances of winning. Contests are skill-based and judged primarily on creativity, engagement, and entertainment value.

 

3. Eligibility Requirements

  • Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 18 years old.

  • Active User Requirement: Participants must log into the app at least once within 24 hours prior to the contest start to be eligible.

  • Level Requirement: Contests are open only to players at D-lister level or higher.

  • Jurisdiction: Eligibility varies by region. Residents in areas where contests are prohibited or restricted by law are ineligible.

  • Employees and Affiliates: Employees, agents, and immediate family members of InstaSleb LLC are not eligible to participate.

 

4. Entry Process and Invitations

  • By Invitation Only: Invitations are issued based on partner sponsorships and contest goals. Not every eligible player may receive an invite.

  • How to Enter: Participants can enter by clicking the pop-up invite or through the settings page under “Casting Call Contest,” or by clicking the envelope icon with balloons on their homepage feed.

  • Missed Invitations: If you miss the pop-up invite, you can still enter via the settings page as long as the contest window remains open.

 

5. Submission Guidelines

  • Original Content: Submissions must be created by the entrant and not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.

  • Appropriate Content: Submissions must comply with Community Guidelines, avoiding any content that is offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate.

  • Consent Requirements: Submissions cannot contain personal information of others without their explicit permission.

  • Music Use: Only use licensed music, royalty-free music, or music provided by CelebPups.

  • Disqualification: InstaSleb reserves the right to disqualify any submissions that violate guidelines or terms.

 

6. Winner Selection and Notification

  • Selection Process: Winners are chosen based on creativity, engagement (such as shares and views), and entertainment value. Final selections are reviewed manually by InstaSleb staff.

  • Notification: Winners will be contacted by email or phone within 45 days of the contest submission date.

  • Response Window: Winners must respond within 24 hours. 

  • Alternate Winners: Failure to respond or provide required documentation will result in the selection of an alternate winner.

 

7. Prizes and Tax Responsibility

  • Prizes: Gift cards ranging from $100 to $500 are awarded to winners.

  • Delivery: Prizes will be delivered via mail within 30 days of receiving all required documentation.

  • Taxes: Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes. An IRS Form 1099 may be issued if required.

  • No Cash Substitution: Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash unless explicitly permitted by InstaSleb LLC.

 

8. Intellectual Property Rights

  • License to Use: By entering the contest, participants grant InstaSleb LLC a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to use their submissions for marketing, promotional, and commercial purposes.

  • Public Submissions: Contest submissions will have public URLs, allowing anyone with the link to view them, just like posts on Facebook or Twitter.

  • Transfer of Rights for Winners: Winners must sign a release form, transferring ownership of their submission to InstaSleb LLC, including the right to modify, display, and distribute it without additional compensation.

 

9. Privacy Policy

  • Use of Personal Information: Personal data collected is used only for winner notification and prize delivery. CelebPups will not share personal information with third parties, except as required to administer the contest or comply with legal obligations.

 

10. Fraud Prevention and Disqualification

  • Fraud Detection: Participants using bots, automated systems, or fraudulent means to enter or manipulate the contest will be disqualified.

  • Final Decision: InstaSleb LLC’s decisions regarding disqualification are final and binding.

 

11. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution

  • Arbitration Clause: All disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration under AAA rules.

  • Waiver of Class Action: Participants waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

  • Opt-Out Option: Participants may opt out of arbitration within 30 days by sending a written notice to InstaSleb LLC at the provided company address.

12. Force Majeure

InstaSleb LLC is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or interruptions caused by unforeseen events such as natural disasters, technical failures, or legal restrictions. The company reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest in such cases.

 

13. Changes to Contest Rules

InstaSleb LLC reserves the right to update these rules at any time. Participants will be notified of significant changes via in-app notifications or email. Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of the new rules.

 

14. Public Announcement of Winners

The names or usernames of winners, along with their video submissions, will be displayed on the CelebPups app and website for a reasonable period, as determined by InstaSleb LLC.

 

15. Liability Release and Indemnification

Participants agree to release and indemnify InstaSleb LLC from any liability arising from:

  • Participation in the contest.

  • Use or misuse of prizes.

  • Technical issues or unauthorized access to accounts.
    Participants waive any claims related to contest administration, entry, or prize delivery.

 

16. Compliance with Contest Terms

By entering, participants agree to abide by the Official Contest Rules and CelebPups/InstaSleb’s Terms of Service. InstaSleb LLC’s decisions regarding rule enforcement are final and binding.

By participating in CelebPups contests, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Official Contest Rules and all other relevant terms and policies.
